Can we import our data into Handbook?

You can copy and paste your documents into Handbook no problem. If you're looking to import data from another platform, we're constantly working on new integrations. Feel free to reach out and we can discuss options.

Is the billing based per user or per company?

Billing for Handbook is based per user. Our pricing plans are designed to be flexible and scalable, allowing you to pay only for the number of users you have. This way, you can easily manage costs as your team grows or changes. You can choose from our Free, Essentials, Advanced, or Enterprise plans based on the features and number of users that best meet your needs.

What is a tag?

Using tags in a handbook enhances navigation and organization by allowing users to quickly find related content through categorized keywords. This not only improves the overall usability and user experience but also makes the handbook easier to manage and update. Additionally, tags enable more efficient and refined search functionality, ensuring that users can swiftly locate the information they need.

Do you support any alternative payment methods?

Credit card and debit card are the supported payment methods. We cannot accept payments by wire transfer, invoicing or cryptocurrency unfortunately.

What happens if I go over my plan limits?

You will be asked to either upgrade your plan or to deleted unnecessary items that may be cluttering up your Handbook.

How does the billing work if I upgrade my subscription to a higher tier?

Our payment processor Stripe will calculate a pro-rated amount which reflects the amount you have paid on your previous subscription and the amount of time until that subscription was supposed to expire.

Can I set up quizzes or tests for my employees?

Yes, you can set up quizzes or tests for your employees with Handbook. This feature is available in our Advanced and Enterprise plans. You can create customized tests to assess your employees' understanding of the training materials. This helps ensure that the training is effective and that employees are retaining the information. Additionally, our platform supports acknowledgements, so you can track who has completed the quizzes and understood the content. You can also choose to allow Handbook to generate relevant test questions for you using AI.

Can I sync employees from an external system?

Yes, you can sync employees from an external system with Handbook. Our Advanced and Enterprise plans offer integrations with payroll systems, which allow for seamless syncing of employee data. This ensures that your employee information is always up-to-date without manual data entry, saving you time and reducing the risk of errors. Can I require staff to sign off on documents?

Yes, you can require staff to electronically sign off on documents using Handbook, which we call Acknowledgements. This feature is available starting from the Advanced plan and above. It allows you to upload documents and enable acknowledgements, where employees must electronically sign off to confirm that they have read and understood the document. This helps ensure compliance, accountability, and clear communication within your organization. All plans come with unlimited e-signatures.

Can I require 2FA for added security of my data?

Yes, you can require Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for added security of your data with Handbook. This feature is available starting from the Enterprise plan. MFA Enforcement adds an extra layer of protection by requiring users to verify their identity with a second factor, such as a code sent to their mobile device, in addition to their password. This helps enhance the security of your Handbook account and ensures that only authorized personnel can access sensitive information.

Can I only allow staff to use handbook at work?

Yes, you can restrict access to Handbook so that staff can only use it while they are at work. This can be achieved through various security features and configurations available in Handbook, such as IP masking and IP restrictions, which are available in the Enterprise plan.
